This painting depicts a 'bird' that is waiting expectantly.  Even though the creature looks like a bird, the way it is sitting reminds me of a cat.  A cat wanting to be fed  waits with an attitude of expectancy with a knowing that she will be fed.  There is no struggle or desperation.  This painting is part of a triptych with Divine Feminine Rebirth and Delicate Balance.
